ANTICO GOES FROM NEWTON'S LAW TO A PRIVATE WAR Star Studded Cast Featured In Directorial Debut To Be Followed By Feature With Partner Neve Campbell

(Los Angeles, February 27, 2003) - Newton's Law, starring Maria Conchita Alonso (Moscow On The Hudson), Bruce Payne (Passenger 57), Nancy Cassaro (Tony and Tina's Wedding), Brandon Adams (Might Ducks II) and Allan Rich (Quiz Show) is Peter Antico's directorial debut, with a script he co-wrote. The 21 minute short film highlighting the importance of determining one's own destiny, is produced by Grant Gilmore (Rain) and edited by Academy Award nominated Dean Goodhill (The Fugitive).

Antico's next project is A Private War, a full length feature which he will produce with partner and executive producer Neve Campbell (Scream), who will also star. A Private War, based on a true story and scripted by Antico, is the story of a young man with a neurological disorder and his struggle to be accepted in the world and by the woman he loves. The film is currently in pre-production. Campbell has just completed producing and starring in The Company, directed by Robert Altman and based on a story by Campbell.

Antico's producing credits include the short films A Little Tailor's Christmas Story and League Of Old Men for We Care About Kids, the non-profit organization he co-founded with Allan Rich to create short films to enlighten young people on ethical and other relevant issues. A Little Tailor's Christmas Story, received two notable awards --- the Renaissance Award for Extraordinary Artistic Vision in the Direction of Cultural Enhancement as well as a Film Advisory Board Award.

Recently, Antico returned to his hometown of New York to produce his first full length feature, 18 Shades Of Dust for Flashpoint (Gods and Monsters), starring Danny Aiello, William Forsythe and Polly Draper.
