Bruce Payne is without a doubt one of the best actors today. He has played lots of different parts in a variety of movies all of them in one way or another quite special. In my mind his best parts are those of the villain. Bruce Payne always adds his touch of "psycho-ness" to the roles he plays. Yet he has a compassion which can be seen in his eyes when the role he plays is the good-guy.

His most well-known role is that of Charles Rane from Passenger 57. Most men in the audience wanted to be him and most women wanted to be lifted off of their feet by him. His ability to bring so much to a role stems from a vast amount of research that he does and the "hands-on" approach he adds to all his roles.  For his role in Passenger 57 he jumped off a few airplanes. He studied with anti-terrorist groups so he understood what terrorism was and the impact it has on today's society.

Any news on Bruce Payne will be featured on these pages as well as special items on Bruce. My favorite roles played by Bruce are that of the villain. He plays the " bad dude" like no one else can. I must admit that it's great that his soon-to-be pictures all feature Bruce Payne as the bad guy. There will be plenty of attention for his new productions, as soon as I acquire the information.

I have searched high and low to locate Bruce's past work as he deserves a lot of attention. Over the years I have located most of his films. His British television appearances are harder to come by, however I am doing my best to locate them and will share with everyone once they are found. As an article once stated about Bruce " Payne is a " total psychopath" with a demonic energy for group and self promotion". He even had a five-year plan to form the " Payne Corporation". Now that the Internet is a vast source for promotion and information I thought Bruce deserved my time and energy to help promote him. It is my payback to him for bringing so much joy to my entertainment viewing. I surely hope that you will find the information you are looking for on my page for that's what it's all about. If there's something you think I should add to my page or if you would like to make some comments, feel free to let me know. I am always happy to get some feedback.

I thought I would a few more words now that I have viewed all of Bruce's films in slow-motion. I have been grabbing still images of his film's so that everyone who has not seen certain films of Bruce's can get a chance to see what each film is all about, or in most cases, what Bruce's character looks like. I have to admit that his facial features are burned in my mind as having eight hour sessions for seven days with Bruce's films will do that. However I am not complaining. Watching Bruce at such at frozen state I have been able to really see how Bruce gets into his role. His eye's and face really speak volumes. Of course he is able to relay this information to his audience in real-time but viewing him at such a close state, it was rather an unique experience.

Bruce has had wonderful opportunities, on several occasions, to work with the same actors that he has had worked with in previous films. Jamie Gertz in Solarbabies and then again in Silence Like Glass, where they became friends. Jimmy Smits in Switch and then again in The Cisco Kid. Lance Henricksen in Operation Intercept and then again in Face The Evil, where they also became friends. Corben Bernsen in Operation Intercept and then again in Kounterfeit. And for all of those Nikita fans here is some news, Alberta Watson in The Keep and then again in Nikita, the TV series.

Bruce is a passionate man and I think it is about time we saw him in a love story. Most of the love scenes in the films he has done have been brief encounters or brutalized in editing, shown only to tease the audience. I do not know if he has ever been given the opportunity to act in a love story. The Piano, The English Patient, Jane Eyre, and Wuthering Heights are a few of the great love stories. I know Bruce could have played the leading man in any of these films. There has got to be a script somewhere, out there, where Bruce can show us his wares as a lead in a love story. He has proven that he has passion and has a dark side: the mentioned love stories all have passion and torment.

I have had a lot of fun creating this page and I hope you get as much joy out of it! Thank you for visiting and please come back.
